8:30 AM – 3 PM (ET)Cost: $75 for Michigan residents; $125 all othersYou’ve made it through the first hurdle – getting your Phase I funded. You’ve achieved your aims and demonstrated feasibility. You’re ready to write and submit your Phase II proposal — or are you? In this session, we’ll explore the key considerations for the Phase II proposal with specific emphasis on commercialization. We’ll provide the framework for a strong commercialization plan, discuss key activities that you can initiate while still working on your Phase I project, and review the overall attributes of a strong, well-crafted proposal.NOTE: Lunch is included in the registration fee.Refund Policy: Refunds can be made up until 48 hrs. prior to training. No refunds after that time.Speaker:  Lisa Kurek, Managing Partner,BBC Entrepreneurial Training & Consulting (BBCetc)Speaker Information: Lisa joined BBC as a Managing Partner in 1997. Her experience in biomedical technology is extensive, having spent 15 years in product and business development, and sales and product management in the industry with large, publicly-held corporations as well as small start-ups.In addition to overseeing all aspects of client relations at BBC, Lisa is nationally recognized as a trainer in grant-writing and commercialization for entrepreneurs. She is an expert in the federal SBIR/STTR programs, having trained thousands of entrepreneurs in how to prepare winning SBIR/STTR proposals and coached hundreds of companies one-on-one through the process.   Lisa earned two degrees in Biomedical Engineering, a Bachelor’s from Brown University and a Master’s degree from the University of Michigan.
