Auriga Measurement Systems has successfully completed Phase 1 of SBIR Program "Solid-State High-Efficiency Radar Transmit Module". This Phase 2 proposal summarizes Phase 1 results and discusses the plan for Phase 2 activities and goals. Technically, we will continue to improve the Class F design to meet the high efficiency goal at 400W of output power. The final amplifiers in Phase 2 will be tested under pulse operation as specified by the system requirements. The final goal of the project is to demonstrate a 400W production-ready unit-amplifier, which can be combined in an amplifier using balun and quadrature couplers to achieve 1KW output power. Auriga will also work with end users (Raytheon, Boeing) to develop a commercialization plan for this product. We will identify the military and commercial programs and systems, into which this amplifier or some variation of the amplifier can be inserted. We will report the market size for the next 10 years.
