Abstract

In this Phase I effort, TRS Technologies Inc (TRS) proposes to develop high energy thin film metal oxide capacitors that exhibit high energy density (>5J/g). TRS will develop these high energy capacitors using a novel approach for increasing the surface area of metal oxide thin films. Additionally, TRS will develop the thin film capacitors on flexible polymer substrates to enable scale-up of the high energy capacitor fabrication.
