Abstract:
This project will be a comprehensive, interactive, web-based skills training program for primary care physicians (PCPs) on substance abuse screening, brief interventions, treatment and referral. The web-based program will address one of the critical barrie rs to addressing substance abuse with patient; the lack of adequate easily accessible training. This project will create an entirely new, SBIRT skills-focused online training and learning program composed of multiple course modules, each focusing on a diff erent aspect of SBIRT.
