Abstract:
Colorado Engineering, Inc., a woman owned small business is going to develop a distributed processing architecture for an extensible, distributed application that can be utilized to detect information of interest in voice and other data. The key distinguishing characteristics of the architecture will be distribution of the detection tasks to a set of subscribed PCs and/or FPGAs on a network (including the Internet or a Local Area Network) and the use of a Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) to facilitate inclusion of new and improved algorithms. This development takes the Stegi distributed processing web service based SOA system and extends the architecture to include Voice Recognition for the needs of DOD and government agencies; example signal, video and information processing algorithms that require similar architectures will also be explored. The program takes the existing client/server software developed and adds functionality to allow information dissemination from sensor networks to analysts. The network centric DISP system will allow for secure interconnection, processing/fusing, storing, disseminating and managing data and information on demand to achieve information superiority. This will allow a data processing and information fusing infrastructure. This proposal will develop release 1.0 of the distributed system.
