THE EFFORT INCLUDES DEVELOPMENT OF SYNTACTICAL AND SEMANTIC CODES SUITABLE FOR HIGH SPEED PARSING OF OPTICAL SYSTEMS SIMULATIONS MODE WILL BE DEVELOPED WITH WHICH EXPERIMENTS INTO ALTERNATIVE ARCHITECTURES AND CONFIGURATIONS CAN BE CONDUCTED. BASED UPON THES RESULTS, FOLLOW-UP ENGINEERING COULD RESULT IN A WORKING PROTOTYPE. THE PROJECT FOCUSSES ATTENTION ON THE NEED FOR HIGH CAPACITY DEVICES.
