Abstract

The goal of this proposal is to develop a method of transferring cargo from the ship to the shore autonomously and precisely by integrating positioning technologies with an airfoil that is towed and launched from existing high speed vessels. The airfoil will be self-contained, reusable, and can be readily attached to the cargo.
