Abstract:
DE Technologies proposes herein to modify the shaped charge section of the M430A1 HEDP grenade to effect neutralization of IED, roadside bombs and landmines. Critical to this effort is the adaptation of previously proven techniques to a spinning munition. Other features include the replacement of the explosive fill with an IM-type explosive and relocation of nose-mounted S&A and spitback fuze to the base of the grenade.
