Abstract

The problem of correlating radar tracks with tracks generated by an electronic support system is a long-standing problem of tremendous signficance for the modern Navy. The purpose of the proposed Phase I research is to conduct investigations, determine feasibilities, evaluate alternatives, and develop limited demonstrations of ES/Radar correlation algorithms for use within a current, moderate capability shipboard combat system. The ultimate goal of this project is to develop a system which will use all available sensor information to quickly and accurately identify and track an incoming anti-ship missile.
