Abstract:
A multilevel integrated methodology for trading avionics suite performance requirements and life cycle costs will be designed and demonstrated. This methodology will employ computerized spreadsheets with correlating databases. The databases to be used will be structured from the information required by Contractual Data Item Descriptions for the R&D phases of Avionics system design and development. The Air Force LCCHPC model will be integrated into the personal computer program designed for methodology implementation during Phase II. Spreadsheets will be developed to correspond with trade studies necessary for formulation of Functional, Allocated, and Product Design baselines. Spreadsheets will be developed for WBS levels 3 through the line replaceable unit.
