Abstract:
Not Available ImageView, Inc, will provide the Navy with an accelerated STSA based on its operational SeaMedTM commercial telemedicine system for both cruise lines and private yachts. SeaMedTM is a satellite-based service, which includes a 7 x 24 worldwide operations center connecting the ship's infirmary directly to emergency department physicians and specialists at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, thereby creating a virtual emergency room environment. By leveraging SeaMedTM and emerging technologies into the healthcare delivery system, ImageView will create a MIMS built upon patient-centric, secure, diagnostic quality multi-media medical records. Phase I will develop the engineering information necessary to provide a comprehensive definition of requirements and create a conceptual design for the STSA. Phase I Option will develop the first increment of schematics and requirements for the STSA, ensuring that system architecture is compatible with the MIMS being developed by NAVSEA/BUMED. An ongoing, and evolving conceptual design of STSA will be initiated supporting Phase II prototyping. Design elements from the LPD 17 will be examined, in conjunction with information from both the LPD 17 shipbuilder, Avondale, and the SWAN developer, Raytheon to create an LXX Theme Ship STSA conceptual design. The LXX Medical Department IRD will be implemented as a guidance document for anticipating MIMS functionality requirements. ImageView intends to submit a Fast Track proposa
