Abstract:
FastVDO will continue undertaking the research and development of advanced mathematical algorithms for electro-optical and infrared target recognition for insertion in the Navy Shared Reconnaisance Pod (SHARP). The suite of algorithms being developed on this contract will exploit a variety of advances in the fields of signal decompositions, shape filters, activity measures, and neural net classifiers to achieve significant performance enhancements over traditional approaches.
