Abstract:
Our proposed effort will be used to determine the feasibility of a deeply-throttleable aerospike engine that maintains constant specific impulse performance, regardless of the throttle setting. The design incorporates technology previously demonstrated under another SBIR, but extends it through incorporation of an aerospike nozzle.
