PARTITION ING CONCEPTUAL DESIGN

Award Year / Program / Phase: 1985 / SBIR / Phase I
Agency / Branch: DOD / ARMY
Principal Investigator: Dr g m samaras
Award Amount: $52,215.00
Abstract:
Proposed is the conceptual design of a system for acquiring and analyzing physiological and overt behavioral data from operators (of complex man machine systems) so as to identify operator functional status and thereby allocate control functions between the man and the machine.

THE LONG-TERM OBJECTIVE OF THIS PROPOSAL IS TO DEVELOP TECHNOLOGY FOR REMOVING ARTIFACTS FROM BRAIN ACTIVITY (EEG) MEASUREMENTS IN ORDER TO ALLOW AUTOMATED EEG ANALYSIS.

Award Year / Program / Phase: 1986 / SBIR / Phase I
Agency: HHS
Principal Investigator: S m falk , PRINCIPAL INVESTIGATOR
Award Amount: $50,000.00
Abstract:
The long-term objective of this proposal is to develop technology for removing artifacts from brain activity (eeg) measurements in order to allow automated eeg analysis. thiscapability will be important for clinical and nonclinical endeavors. the specific aim of this project is to develop atechnique… More

NON-INVASIVE DETERMINATION OF CORE TEMPERATURE

Award Year / Program / Phase: 1988 / SBIR / Phase I
Agency / Branch: DOD / ARMY
Principal Investigator: S m falk
Award Amount: $50,791.00
Abstract:
In this proposed phase i sbir research effort, we will develop a technique for rapid, non-invasive determination of core temperature from measured parameters of respired air (temperature, humidity, and velocity). we will modify our existing respiration transducer (which measures temperature and… More

DEVELOPMENT OF A PORTABLE G-HARDENED ELECTRO-PHYSIOLOGICAL DATA AND STORAGE DEVICE
