HMC's objective is to conduct an accelerated 3 month research and development effort to investigate the feasibility of applying the Lorentz Force to the creation of an electromagnetic armor system that will provide both heavy and light armored military vehicles as well as fixed armaments with an effective defense against multiple, and otherwise lethal RPG attacks.
