Abstract:
The development of Innovative Technologies for Reducing Unexploded Ordnance (UXO) provides critical technology to eliminate Unexploded Ordnance (UXO) with the potential to maim and kill. Once deployed, if the fuze did not function as designed, it would become safe and unable to detonate. The proposed technology would eliminate the highly sensitive nature of UXO's that exist today and eliminate the hazards to personnel.
