Abstract

LAUREN OFFERS A UNIQUE FLOUROELASTOMER COATING TECHNOLOGY EMPLOYING DUPONT'S VITON, A FLOUROPOLYMER KNOWN TO BE HIGHLY RESISTANT TO CW AGENTS, SIMULANTS, AND DECONTAMINANTS. LAUREN PROPOSES TO FORMULATE CANDIDATE COATING SYSTEMS FOR USE WITH ELASTOMERS OF INTEREST TO THE ARMY. SEVERAL CANDIDATE FLOUROPOUMERS WOULD BR USED, IN COMBINATION WITH VARIOUS PROPORTIONS OF CURATIVES. ELASTOMER SAMPLES WILL PREPARED WITH VARIOUS COATING SYSTEMS FOR TESTS AT AMMRC.
