Abstract:
MaXentric's goal in Phase I of this SBIR project was to lay down a solid foundation for an innovative V-band WLAN system that could be used a wireless local area network for avionics applications. Our efforts have produced a detailed blueprint for such a system including substantial software simulations. Phase I simulation efforts illustrated the feasibility of such link, inside of fighter cockpit, with reliability of 10-12 BER. In Phase II MaXentric will develop a hardware test bed prototype and will perform substantial testing. Moreover, a secure version of the proposed system will be prototyped.
