Abstract:
Commanders are required to make mission-critical decisions based on large amounts of distributed, fragmented information. Modus Operandi proposes to develop an innovative software tool to reason about these events and decisions using a semantic process model. DEEP addresses the most pressing technical challenge for decision reasoning; how to focus the ontology and reasoner on the subset of facts and relationships necessary to answer the decision-maker's question.
