This Phase II SBIR project develops and implements the Situational Assessment and Warfighter Analysis Framework (SAWAF) to support analysis and assessment of network centric fire support and probable courses of action. The Framework employs a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) to provide capabilities to integrate diverse intelligent agent based algorithms within a net-centric computing and information processing environment. The proposed framework is specifically targeted to both defensive and offensive assessments and analysis as well as Course of Action Analysis (COAA) in support of Maneuver Out of Contact (MOOC). The framework will incorporate a high-resolution, full-dimensional visualization environment. SAWAF is used to rapidly build systems that will provide the commander with the ability to "see" his battle space through a full dimensional battlefield situational awareness and assessment display, with red/blue force composition, disposition, strength, recent activities, most probable course of action, and most dangerous course of action. Through this battlefield visualization capability depicting the information and analysis results, the commander can decide where, when, and how he will dominate the enemy. An urban conflict situation is a good example of a commander's need to visualize, from a full-dimensional perspective, the collaborative massed effects in his battle space.
