HIGH-SPEED DIGITAL MODULATION (Q-DOT RESEARCH PROPOSAL 1275)

Q-DOT proposes the development of a high-speed digital modulator for use in digital radio frequency memories (DRFM's) for simulating radar target signatures. The modulation can be realized with charge-mode digital/analog multipliers, operating in a pipeline structure. This technique affords very fast digital multiplication at low production costs. In this program, novel techniques for high-speed multiplication will be developed in order to determine the most efficient and feasible method to generate digital modulation of DRFM signals.
