Abstract:
Not Available The Navy currently validates performance of torpedo tubes using pressure transducers and a tape spooler that that requires penetration of a subsafe boundary. We propose to build, using MEMS sensors, microcontroller technology and simulation modeling, a flexible data acquisition and communications system that gives clean multidimensional data without requiring penetration of the sub safe boundary.
