Individualized Language Development
The Phase I project, Individualized Language Development, will transition ELLs through Basic Interpersonal Communication Skills to Cognitive Academic Language Proficiency. The project creates and tests mediarich, individualized, ageappropriate, computer-based language instruction for upper elementary students. This instruction will ensure ELLs and other language delayed students develop the skills needed to understand and communicate in standard American English.
