Abstract:

Spectra Research, Inc. (S*R) proposes to develop a comprehensive standardized test suite to evaluate and compare these motion algorithms and techniques. This test suite is a software package that can be run on a UNIX based workstation as well as a WINDOW or OS/2 based personal computer. The test suite consists of: 1) a test suite core that contains a scoring system for quantifying succinct scientific test restuls and a graphic user interface (GUI) for point and click set up of test environment and test conditions; 2) various test algorithms; 3) a bank of time-varying image sequences; and 4) their corresponding optic-flows for benchmark testing of first-order and second-order motion analysis.
