Abstract

AT THE PRESENT TIME ALL-EMTAL AND SOME COMPOSITE FIBER\EPOXY OVER-WRAPPED METAL CONTAINMENT VESSELS ARE BEING UTILIZED FOR DEPARTMENT OF NAVY APPLICATIONS. IT WOULD BE ADVATAGEOUS IF THESE VESSELS WERE MORE CORROSION-RESISTANT IN SEAWATER ENVIRONMENTS, LIGHTER WEIGHT WITH LOWER MAGNETIC SIGNATURE, AND LESS EXPENSIVE.
