Abstract:
The objective of the proposed work is the development of a CAD system for the design and analysis of multibody dynamical systems with flexible substructures. We shall start with multibody modeling formalisms developed and used by TSI for large scale flexible structures and combine these with the PROTOFLEX system developed by the Grumman Corp. The project will involve a collaboration between TSI and Grumman to achieve the final product.
