Abstract:

This proposal describes basic research to study and experiment with physiological and methodological techniques for measuring individual cognitive load. Once developed, these techniques and associated algorithms will facilitate the accurate determinatin of operational cognitive load and overload and will allow the optimal allocation of decisions among decision-making elements.
