Abstract:

In staring Focal Plane Array applications the maximum integration time is limited by the well capacity needed to store the dar current plus the signal current. A primary requirement in the design of read out electronics for MCP FPA applications is the implementation of input circuits which provide the maximum possible well capacity in the space available. Reduction of the noise band width through the use of switched capacitor filtering techniques will be investigated in the design of a circuit with large equivalent well capacity. The completed design will be laid out, fabricated and tested to evaluate performance.
