Abstract

IN PHASE I, E-TEK WILL ANALYZE, DESIGN AND OPTIMIZE AN INNOVATIVE PASSIVE MAGNETIC SENSORING SYSTEM TO DETECT LOW OBSERVABLE AIRCRAFT. THIS INNOVATIVE MAGNETIC SENSORING SYSTEM PROVIDES <10 X-13 GAUSS SENSITIVITY, GREATER THAN 4 GHZ FREQUENCY RESPONSE, LESS THAN 0.1%/DEGREE THERMAL STABILITY, EXCELLENT ABILITY TO RESIST WEATHER/ELECTRICAL, VEHICLE INTERFERENCE IMMUNITY TO LASER/MICROWAVE RADIATION. WITH E-TEK'S MANY YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN DEVELOPING INTEGRATED OPTICAL DEVICES, NONLINEAR MAGNETIC-OPTIC MATERIALS, HIGH FREQUENCY MODULATORS, COMPUTER-AIDED MODELING AND SOPHISTICATED PACKAGE DESIGN, PHASE I INVESTIGATION WILL LEAD DIRECTLY AND SMOOTHLY TO PHASE II HARDWARE IMPLEMENTATION, EVAULATION AND DEMONSTRATION.
