Abstract:
Advanced Network Centric Warfare (NCW) systems are critical to the successful implementation of the Army's future force. To achieve accurate, secure, and reliable wireless communications in such systems, the information flow between any two communicating entities should be protected properly against various malicious attacks, specifically the exploitable denial of service attacks (DoS) in wireless environments. In this research, we propose a novel scheme that addresses the problem of combating DoS attacks by raising an early alert. We employ a simple method that maintains minimal state information at each router and functions independent of the underlying queuing mechanism at the routers. IST has assembled a distinguished team to address this proposal. In conjunction with our university research partner, we are proposing a novel and innovative approach to meeting the requirements called for in the solicitation. At the conclusion of Phase II, we will have a pre-production version of our product ready for immediate deployment in selected applications.Small Business Information at Submission:INFOSCITEX CORP.
