Abstract:
The goal of this Phase I, is to develop and conduct a feasibility demonstration of a reactive material based projectile on a laboratory scale. The overall system will be able to produce a significant energy release by combining the release of chemical energy as well as the kinetic energy of the projectile. This Phase I will demonstrate key technologies for the reactive material based projectile concept.
