Abstract

In this proposal, Intelligent Automation, Inc. (IAI) proposes to build a modality-independent quality based score level fusion system for multimodal biometrics authentication. Our proposed system contains two major components: modality-independent quality estimator and synthetic data generator. The modality-independent quality estimator provides information about the confidence of the match score. The synthetic data generator synthesizes necessary training data for the genuine class based on the existing biometric database. The synthetic data will help improve the accuracy of both quality estimation and score fusion in the system.
