Abstract:
The purpose of this program is to develop a clip-on thermal imager device that covers the full 40 degree field of view of the host night vision goggle. MTEQ"s approach utilizes a novel optical coupling technique coupled with the latest high resolution infrared focal plane arrays to provide up to 36% improvement in performance with no increase in size, weight, or power compared to currently available technology.
