Abstract:
The research for this topic examined possible ways to avoid performing planned and unplanned maintenance during tactical operational deployments. The essential thrust being to create a method of predicting when maintenance should be performed based on historical and real-time inputs into a computing model that will advise onboard personnel as to whether maintenance should be performed on a different schedule than that originally recommended for the equipment/system of interest.
