Abstract

M4 Engineering proposes to develop a method for simulating store vibration response. This method will combine model reduction methods for the linear portion of the store models with nonlinear representations of joints and other nonlinear components. This development will result in simulation software that is capable of predicting nonlinear dynamic response using significantly fewer resources than conventional methods. The proposed technique will be an excellent compliment to modern test and analysis methods.
