Abstract

Southwest Sciences, Inc., in collaboration with Prof. Jianhua (Jay) Wang MD, PhD of the University of Miami Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, proposes an improved approach to ocular surface imaging and mapping for automated fitting of ocular prosthetic devices. The approach combines state-of-the-art optical coherence tomography (OCT) technologies to develop a high performance spectral domain OCT system that will provide unprecedented performance for ocular surface shape mapping.
