ABSTRACT: Design and build a hyperspectral sensor that maintains high spatial resolution information. BENEFIT: To design and build a long wave infrared (LWIR) hyperspectral sensor system that is capable of placing enough pixels on target for shape-based target identification, while maintaining the ability to detect and identify the target material based on its spectral signature.
