Power regenerative suspension systems
In this Phase 2 SBIR, we will build 3 sets of regenerative, semi-active shock absorbers, install them on a test HMMWV, and demonstrate damping, energy regeneration, and durability in a field test. The Company will advance semi-active control algorithms, and prepare the combination of mechanical components and electronics to fulfill GenShocks capabilities. Subsequently, Stryker-GenShock units will be modeled and simulated, designed, fabricated, and tested to demonstrate the ability for GenShock technology to scale to additional platforms. Advanced semi-active control algorithms will be prepared for Stryker to provide rudimentary and advanced control, depending on the application.
