Phase 2
Fiscal Year: 2013
Title: Development and Processing of Dielectric Films for Application in Large Wound Capacitors
Agency: DOD
Contract: N00014-13-C-0234
Award Amount: $497,536.00

Abstract:

In this SBIR Phase II project, we propose to develop high energy density film capacitors by using our high performance polymer dielectric compositions, low-cost capacitor production process, and robust capacitor design guided by modeling. It is expected that prototype wound capacitor with energy density of 4 J/cc can be achieved by the end of the Phase II project.
