Abstract:

We will integrate existing Synthetic Scene Generation Model (SSGM) and Accurate Automation Corporation (AAC) tools into a single near-real time software package for accurate generation and visualization of scenarios. This will be directly applied ot weapons depolyment simulation and evaluation. We will also develop this into a software package for sale to the commercial market for 3-D scenario generation. There is a need in the Government and commercial communities for a single software package which brings together a variety of very accurate scenario generation tools such that they can easily and quickly be applied in conjunction to solve generic problems. Such a package should be powerful enough to be broadly applicable while maintaining interchangability and compatibility of scenario elements developed by various users. Such a package would facilitate the growth of an ever expanding data base of scenario elements. This SSGM package brings together a variety of tools, including accurate simulation models and real data bases. In Phase I, we will develop a detailed system design for transitioning this software into a generic tool. In Phase Ii, we will specifically apply this package to generic weapons deployment, resulting in a tool which can be used by all facets of the defense community. We will also make the software generic enough to be applicable to the general commercial user community.
