Abstract:
Accurate Automation proposes to design and develop the architecture for an instrumentation system for hypersonic aircraft. We will design an instrumentation system for use in a Mach 8-10 hypersonic testbed for the HyTech engine. We will investigate the feasibility of incorporating a plasma generation capability into this instrumentation system. We will develop an enhanced instrumentation system for use in subscale/subsonic "hypersonic demonstrator" aircraft such as AAC's LoFLYTE TM, McDonnell Douglas' PhantomX, and NASA's forthcoming X-33 demonstrator.
