Abstract:
The ISO Format Open Document standards 11, 26 and 36 describe a language for standard word processor systems. To implement such a system there are a number of challenges to overcome. The challenge of reusing logical constituent parts of a document and the difficulty of constructing a viable user interface are addressed in the research work proposed below. In addition the research will address the issue of the document creation process and the document dissemination process.
