THE PRINCIPAL FOCUS WILL BE ON UPDATING THE RELATIONSHIPS USED IN THE NAYSEA AIRCRAFT CARRIER DESIGN-SYNTHESIS MODEL. SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES WILL BE AS FOLLOWS: (A)TO PROVIDE A CONSISTENT WEIGHT, KG AND AREA/VOLUME DATABASE, AS DERIVED FROM THE DESIGN DOCUMENTATION FOR PREVIOUS AIRCRAFT CARRIERS, (B)TO TAKE INTO ACCOUNT ANY CHANGES IN AIRCRAFT CARRIER DESIGN PRACTICES, ESPECIALLY ATTHE SUBSYSTEM LEVEL, WHICH HAVE OCCURRED IN RECENT YEARS, THE AIRCRAFT CARRIER DESIGN-SYNTHESIS MODEL IN RECENT YEARS (E.G.
