Abstract:
This proposal makes use of ASC proprietary technology to solve the target/no-target discrimination problems associated with diffraction-caused laser beam divergence. Solutions are also offered for multiple target and countermeasure discrimination as well as for false target isolation caused by particle obscurants. Phase I consists of an experimental program to verify the proposed solutions. In Phase II an optimized Laser Spot Tracker incorporating the technology will be fabricated and tested.
