Abstract:
The application of modernComputer Assisted Engineering (CASE) tools is proposed to address the development of the decision support system architecture concpet. This technique has been applied to similarky complex and interrelated large-scale ehterprises, in which inputs from a very large diverity of data sources must be appropriately integrated and modeled. APJ has demonstrated the viability of structed system analysis using CASE in the process of organizing the contents of MIL-STD-1388-1A and AR 700-127, as well as the Navy Logistics System. Our approach to program integration and prioritization has been successfully applied to a series of Army and Navy programs. This technique provides a structure for organizing decision support and effective application of Artificial Intelligence(AI). The result is an architecture for ratinal Army program integration and prioritization of the Battlefield Laboratory/ Louisiana Maneuver process.
