Abstract:
Tactical scenarios are being combined with evolving multimedia display technologies and high performance simulators to enhance training opportunities throughout the military. To date, with the exception of the SDV-simulator, no high performance simulationtool has been developed to train Naval Special Warfare operators.This proposal demonstrates the feasibility of developing a SEAL Tactical Simulator (STS) that combines actual and hypothetical SEAL combat tactical scenarios with a high performance, multi-path simulation tool with the ability to track individualdecisions, influence scenario progression, and lead to a logical conclusion based on the entire decision process.Some of the key traits that SEALs pride themselves on are flexibility and innovativeness.
