Models to Address Diplomatic, Information, Military, Economic (DIME) Factors for the Propagation/Evolution of Ideas Through Defined Populations

This proposal describes the work performed by the DIME Effects Modeling (DEM) team, composed of Applied Systems Intelligence, Inc. (ASI) and the Center for Advanced Defense Studies (CADS). CADS brings leading technology research and cognitive modeling experience to the partnership while ASI contributes a proven cognitive engine and commercialization channels through their existing contracts. Together, the DEM team is providing state-of-the-art research to conceptualize an analytic framework for assessing and planning diplomatic, informational, military, and economic effects to the brigade level of the U.S. Army. The proposal describes a distinct and clear progression of the Phase I research into Phase II implementation and on into Phase III product rollout.
