Company: Analytical Services, Inc. (ASI) Agency/Program/Year/Phase: NASA / SBIR / 2013 / 1
Abstract: The goal of the proposed effort is to demonstrate feasibility of using selective laser melting (SLM, an emerging manufacturing technique) to manufacture a subscale combustion chamber liner that features an advanced regenerative cooling technique that combines high performance with low pressure drop.… more
Company: Analytical Services, Inc. (ASI) Agency/Program/Year/Phase: NASA / SBIR / 2013 / 1
Abstract: A small Mars (or other celestial body) ascent vehicle is unlikely to achieve the necessary propellant fraction required to achieve orbit. Scaling down of liquid propulsion systems, as shown in the figure, is difficult. In the 100-kg class of vehicles, liquid propellant vehicle designers should… more
Company: AZ Technology, Inc. Agency/Program/Year/Phase: NASA / SBIR / 2013 / 1
Abstract: This work directly addresses a technology of interest listed in Section 9, sub-section H1.01 In-Situ Resource Utilization, specifically "Highly efficient reactors for carbon monoxide/carbon dioxide (CO/CO2) conversion into methane (CH4)."The proposal will investigate combining recent work… more
Company: CFD Research Corporation Agency/Program/Year/Phase: NASA / SBIR / 2013 / 1
Abstract: NASA space exploration missions require radiation-hardened memory technologies that can survive and operate over a wide temperature range. Memristors (memory-resistors) are a promising technology for the next generation of non-volatile memory (NVM) applications and offer a highly-desirable… more
Company: EAST WEST ENTERPRISES INC., Agency/Program/Year/Phase: NASA / SBIR / 2013 / 1
Abstract: In this SBIR Phase 1 we propose to develop a novel microscope by integrating Fourier phase contrast microscopy (FPCM) and epi-fluorescence microscopy. In FPCM, the high degree coherence of low power laser source provides well resolved spatial frequency bands in the Fourier plane and the retardation… more
Company: Plasma Processes, LLC Agency/Program/Year/Phase: NASA / SBIR / 2013 / 1
Abstract: In October 2011, NASA initiated the Nuclear Cryogenic Propulsion Stage (NCPS) program to evaluate the feasibility and affordability of Nuclear Thermal Propulsion (NTP). A critical aspect of the program is to develop a robust, stable nuclear fuel. One of the nuclear fuel configurations currently… more
Company: Scientic, Inc. Agency/Program/Year/Phase: NASA / SBIR / 2013 / 1
Abstract: Integrate advanced nanotechnology with energy storage technology to develop advanced cathode materials for use in Li-ion batteries while maintaining a high level of safety, stability, and cycle life, allowing the cathodes to be tailored to provide very high specific energy or very high specific… more

HELP FOR NARROW YOUR SEARCH

Search Options

There are several categories such as “By Agency”, “By Year”, “By State” etc. Select a checkbox within a category to refine your search results.

Each of your selections is listed in the “Narrow Search Filters” bar. You can uncheck these selections to remove them.

Search for Either Criteria

When you select multiple values within a category, the results will include values that match either of the selections. For example, selecting “2005” and “2007” in the “By Year” category will display results that include either 2005 OR 2007 in the results.

Narrowing the Search Results

You can refine your search results across categories. To narrow down your results, select multiple values across different categories. The results will only include values that match the selections across the categories. For example, selecting “2005” in the “By Year” category and “NASA” in the “By Agency” category will only display the results that contain both “2005” AND “NASA” in the results.
