Abstract
ExoAnalytic Solutions, teamed with Texas A&M University and Georgia Institute of Technology, will develop Highly-mobile Autonomous Rapidly Relocatable Integrated Electro-optical Resources (HARRIER) with the goal being to design and demonstrate tracking of resident space objects (RSOs) in near-geosynchronous orbit (GEO) using a rapidly-constructed low-cost ground based electro-optic (EO) sensor with utility matching optical sensors from the Space Surveillance Network (SSN). HARRIER will leverage existing ExoAnalytic sensors that already today deliver GEODSS class performance with a minimum detectable target (MDT) of 18 visual magnitude (Vmag) using the ExoAnalytic Space Operations Center (ESpOC) software. Data from these sensors will be combined using software developed on the HARRIER effort to achieve SST class MDT performance by stacking frames from multiple telescopes to achieve a 3 Vmag increase of the Minimum Detectable Magnitude (MDM) over that of a single telescope sensor. ExoAnalytic's experience fielding and operating a global Space Situational Awareness (SSA) network of 140+ sensors on 5 continents and Hawaii has resulted in an unprecedented 100M+ observations of RSOs that will be used to anchor our design and performance predictions.
