Abstract

The Enexor BioEnergy xTechSBIR Phase II Sequential project will demonstrate how the Bio-CHP system, a small-scale waste-to-energy solution, can efficiently convert organic and plastic waste into renewable energy. Developed with support from the Army's SBIR Phase 2, the system has demonstrated that it is ready for military and commercial deployment.Ā The primary objective of the Sequential Phase 2 project is to advance the Bio-CHP technology to Technology Readiness Level 9 (TRL-9) and showcase the systemÆs capabilities and performance. This will be accomplished through a demonstration period at Fort Campbell, in which the technology will be evaluated in a commercial setting to prove reliability and feasibility. A secondary objective of the project will be to demonstrate the integration of a novel carbon conversion system, the Bio-CO2, to transform carbon from organic waste into high-purity CO2.Ā
